Project Description
Aldridge assisted a client in Clayton, NC with a 5,000 square-foot vaccine storage refrigerated warehouse. We began by sourcing, supplying, and installing all Metl-Span insulated wall and ceiling panels to isolate the area to be refrigerated from the outside environment. Then, we supplied and installed Nergeco high-speed doors and Heatcraft redundant refrigeration equipment, and Allen-Bradley redundant energy management system controls and programming.
After all equipment and systems were installed, we pressure tested all refrigeration piping and verified pump function to sub-500 micron vacuum levels. Next, we performed an initial system startup to test and verify that all refrigeration and energy management equipment was installed correctly and operating as intended.
Finally, after we were able to verify the new systems and equipment’s proper function, we trained the facility’s owner on the operation and upkeep of their new warehouse refrigeration system. The installation is backed by our standard one-year warranty.
